Patrons of the Prado brought to San Diego one of the most anticipated galas of 2015, the party of the century, commemorating the 100-year anniversary of Balboa Park and the 1915 Panama-California Exposition. The historic Spreckels Organ Pavilion was transformed into an elaborate setting befitting an “only once every hundred years” celebration for the Balboa Park. The festivities began at 6 pm with a cocktail reception, followed by an extraordinary gourmet dinner, luscious desserts, and a  "through the decades" live music and multi-media entertainment experience created exclusively for this event from one of the most in-demand bands, San Diego’s own NRG. The evening continued with dancing under the moonlight and a live auction.

A musical night to remember, NRG brought to the Organ Pavilion stage a brand new multimedia entertainment experience like no other. The audience took an energetic journey through the decades 1915 to 2015, complete with period costumes, live band, dancers, and a giant LED screen adding to the experience. In this one night NRG will swing, jump, jive, get down, go pop, and rock, from Glenn Miller to The Stones to Lady Gaga with dancers swapping out fantastic costumes throughout the show. It was a not-to-miss once in a century performance!

A special event to thank our generous sponsors who contributed to the success of the gala fundraising efforts.  Museum of Man Adventure and Indulgence guests enjoyed a memorable reception exclusively for our VIP donors featuring cocktails, a gourmet summer dinner, and live entertainment. Guests had the opportunity to take an exclusive tour to the top of the California Tower to enjoy a spectacular view of lovely Balboa Park.
