Our mission is more critical than ever during these challenging times! The Prado’s legacy institutions of art, culture, and science need funding now more than ever, after having to close their doors to the public.
Through your support we help 10 valuable nonprofit cultural organizations in Balboa Park fulfill their missions.
At a time when cultural funding is needed more than ever, Patrons of the Prado provides a focused, viable path for funding a treasured collection of San Diego’s most beloved arts, science and culture organizations. Your support is priceless to these valuable nonprofit organizations that we serve. Your gift will help empower and sustain the arts in San Diego by providing a lasting legacy of cultural enrichment to our community. All gifts go directly to the organization without a penny spent on Patrons of the Prado administrative costs or overhead.
Impact
Each year, 5 of the 10 organizations we support receive the fund proceeds from that year’s annual Gala. The following year the additional 5 beneficiaries receive funding. The mission is to provide maximum impact to empower their programming for the coming year. In addition, each year all 10 beneficiaries receive funding for the Bucks4Buses education and transportation support program.
